Product Description

Singer/songwriter and Pastor Jacobo Ramos has written hit songs for many of today's Latin Christian artist, and on the debut single of his latest project, Dile Al Corazon Que Camine, Ramos once again hits the top of the charts with his ballad Si Acaso Se Me Olivida. Latin superstar, Alex Campos, also makes a special guest duet vocal on the song, Me Has Conocido. Dile Al Corazon Que Camine captures the heart of a shepherd and empowers the listener to be an overcomer.

"h3"Review "p"The Sounds of Daniel Bashta is the new worship album from Daniel Bashta. It is in my opinion not just the sounds of Daniel, but the sounds of the next Season. I have been listening to this CD for quite sometime and it has truly been a revelation to me. The Track Like a Lion has been released already as a single. Some may recognize it because David Crowder and Kristian Stanfill both did covers of this song. The song is full of Love and Hope. With its strong drive it makes for a great congregational praise song. I love the line in the bridge, Let heaven roar and fire fall. Let s shake the ground, with the sound of revival. I love the thought of heaven shaking earth with sound. Daniel pulls two wonderful duets in this album. The first is Heaven which is a duet with Mac Powell of Third day. This is beautiful song of passion. It is a very easy song but its powerful lyrics make it stand out from the rest. If you didn't know this was written by Daniel, you would think it was by Mac Powell. His part suits him perfectly and really adds to the dynamic of the song. The second is Pursuit which is a duet with Kim Walker-Smith of Jesus Culture. The dynamic of this duet is wonderful. Their two voices intertwine in a delightful mix of song and spirit. This is a song that really draws your attention to Jesus and calls you into his tangible presence. As I said, I think this CD is a sample of the sounds of worship that we will begin to see in the next season. Freedom Calling is a song that I think demonstrates this. It is a vibrant, upbeat, faith building song. The strong driving rhythm of the guitar and drums really help to push you forward in worship. Overall this is one of the few CDs I can say really changed me. When I first received it, It came on the heels of a sermon series about the sounds of revival. So not only is it a phenomenal CD, but it reinforced everything my pastors were teaching. When you have that happen, you know God is speaking to you. --AllAboutWorship

Daniel Bashta drops his rookie album The Sounds of Daniel Bashta via Integrity Records. Who s Daniel Bashta? He s a worship leader based out of the Atlanta area. He s also the author of the wildly popular and powerful song Like A Lion that you've probably heard more than a handful of times. There's a lot more to this album than Like A Lion. Integrity is quickly becoming one of my favorite labels. They re signing artists who are putting out quality, relevant music. There s just not many artists in the Christian market (outside of the hardcore amp; metal genres) that don t sound 5 years behind current trends. John Mark McMillan, All Sons amp; Daughters, and now Daniel Bashta are all Integrity artists that fit that mold. Most of the songs follow the same format. A slow start that builds and builds, slowly picking up momentum striving for that epic anthem feel. It s a good formula, but since pretty much every song on the album follows it, it gets repetitive after a while. Overall, it s a lyrically strong album. I love that Integrity is bringing worship music to the market that s not the same formula that every other mega church in America is using. It s not radio friendly and it s not acoustic worship. The Sounds of Daniel Bashta is perfect for you if you're looking for a new formula for worship music that s exciting and doesn't bore you to death. His voice is definitely an acquired taste, but it s not that hard to get into. Songs to try first: Obviously, you'll want to hear the original take of Like A Lion, Dreamers is a great intro, and With Everything is great as well. There s a couple guests on the album. Fellow Georgian Mac Powell of Third Day lends his vocals on Heaven and Kim Walker from Jesus Culture also adds her unmistakable vocals to Pursuit. --christianmusiczine.com
